The playtime #6 of the WPC-ACE League game between LGD.cn and Vici Gaming will kick off an hour after the conclusion of the #5 playtime game between Rising Stars and Adidas.
LGD.cn currently sits in third place in the group stages after their 2-0 win over their international counter part, LGD.int. On the other hand, Vici Gaming is presently fifth place after their 2-0 win over Cupid's Hearts. This match will be crucial for both Chinese teams for their progress in the tournament. Vici Gaming will want to cement their place in the top six to make the playoffs and LGD.cn will want to contest a top 2 spot to guarantee a spot in the semi-finals of the playoffs. LGD.cn toppled Vici Gaming in their last encounter at GEST The Challenge September's grand final.
Another game to look out for in this playtime is the grudge match between TongFu and Invictus Gaming. While both the organizations are on good terms, no such thing can be said about Yao 'Zhou' Chen, who was booted from iG in less than friendly fashion. Chen has a lot to prove in playtime #5 after publicly calling out iG on Weibo. If they were to take the series 2-0, TongFu would once again be on equal ground with iG.
In other news, DK currently holds a flawless 5-0 record in the league, and Adidas not having picking up a single point and sitting at the bottom of the standings, this will be a game of David vs Goliath. Team DK has been on an unstoppable hot steak ever since the formation of their new all-star roster of BurNIng, Dai, Mushi, iceiceice, Lanm. On the other hand Adidas has a rough start to their international careers with a 0-4 record.
All the games from the group stage will be played in a best-of-two format. The winner will receive 3 points in the standings while both teams will receive 1 point each if the match ends 1-1.
