Group A action of WePlay DotA 2 came to a close as Kaipi and Flipside.Quantic advance to second groupstage of season 2. Meanwhile, Virtus.Pro's all-star lineup has yet to gel as they finished dead last in the group.
Kaipi continued their streak of impressive performances. Envy and company only dropped one game throughout the groupstage en route to a first-place finish and punched their ticket to the second groupstage. Joining them will be the combination of former mouz (FATA), Quantic (Sochska, 7ckingmad), and Flip.sid3 (Mania, Miggel) players, now known as Flipside.Quantic, who finished second in the group with 6-2 record.
The first groupstage will resume on September 18 with games from Group B. With the temporary formation of the new Flipside.Quantic roster, the original Flip.sid3 team initially registered for group B has been replaced by dts2010.
Group C will be played next week followed by action from Group D the week after. Top two teams from each group will advance to the second groupstage in October.
