Impervious sponsors ex-Netolic.sg players

The people behind the Facebook community group Dota-AllStars have acquired the players of Insidious Gaming. The team will be playing under the name of Team Impervious, and it will be lead by the now defunct Neolution.International's captain, Michael 'ninjaboogie' Ross.

One of the members, lsmurf, has been playing for Insidious Gaming for quite a while now. Meanwhile, the rest of the members came from the short-lived Netolic.SG. Netolic.SG can be remembered for winning GosuCup VI, then under the name of AprilFoolsDay, not long before The International 3's Eastern Qualifiers. However, they were not invited into the qualifiers and the sponsor released the players not long after.

Ninjaboogie was based at Singapore during their Neolution.int bootcamp, but he has been staying in the Philippines for the past couple of months. When asked how he got into this team, this was his reply:

Chibi contacted me and asked if I wanted to play for them during AMD League. Ever since then, I enjoyed playing in their team and decided to be a permanent member. Hoping for the best to come.

The team has already stringed a couple of achievements, including first place finishes on Neolution 'GosuCup' Asia - July and the Steelseries SEA Cup. Firdaus 'MasterRamen' Hashim, Lowyat.net's Manager and DotaTalk's CEO, is appointed to be the team's manager.

A few months ago, Dota-AllStars Corp was searching for a professional team to help their expansion in the e-Sports scene. We have several teams from various countries which we short-listed, but we decided to recruit the players of the former Isg.int / Netolic.SG to play for Team Impervious. We are looking forward to support the team's ambition of being invited into the next The International. The team will be based in Singapore and a gaming house will be set up in the near future. Our team is ready for the tough challenge in the Dota 2 competitive scene and we will work hard to reach our goal.

Team Impervious will be debuting their new team name against a fellow Singaporean team Zenith in RGN League tomorrow. Though not originally to the tournament, they will take Neolution.International's spot and also take the team's accummulated points and current standing as well. Ninjaboogie, then still a part of Neo.int's roster, did not participate in any of the games on behalf of Neolution.Int.

The match is scheduled at the 17th of August, 17:00 CEST.

Team Impervious current roster:

United States Michael 'ninjaboogie' Ross, Jr.
Singapore Yap 'Raveplue' Chin Jie
Singapore Su 'Kiosai' Wei Han
Singapore Jon Lim 'lsmurf' Xu Kai
Singapore Joel Chan 'chibix3' Jian Yong
