In the last playtime of the day, Alliance firmly secured their first place in the group while NeoES.Orange also guaranteed themselves upper bracket seeding in the playoffs.
TongFu on the other hand, is now tied with Invictus Gaming for fourth place after defeating them 2-0. TongFu will face Rattlesnake and iG will face Team Liquid tomorrow, competing for the last spot in the winner bracket.
Virtus.Pro and Rattlesnake will be starting the playoffs in the lower bracket. LGD.Int will have a slight chance to qualify for the winner bracket tomorrow assuming they win both their games tomorrow against Virtus.Pro while iG and/or TongFu lose both their games as well. LGD.Int cannot afford to drop a single game tomorrow.

In game one, Alliance looked to snowball hard with the Io and Shadow Fiend and they did just that, killing off VP's heroes across the map with their effective movement. The Russians put up a decent fight before realizing they could not comeback from such deficit and called "gg". As for the second game, Alliance got themselves the CK + Wisp combo, plus an off-lane Doom for Bulldog while Virtus.Pro chose to abandon mid lane for some reason. Both teams found some early kills, but it was Alliance who came out on top as they took control of the game thanks the mobility of the Io. VP tapped out in 17 minutes. |
| Tongfu vs iG | Tongfu won 2-0 | The first game between the two teams was one of the most action packed games in TI3 so far. Over 20 kills resulted in the first ten minutes and while going into mid-game, TongFu had the edge due to a better hero line-up - Anti-Mage vs Lifestealer - to managed to take fights more easily. TongFu built up their advantage slowly but surely and finishing it off with a win. In the second game, iG opted for a mid-game dominance line-up and although Tidehunter pulled off some amazing Ravages, the team just did not have the firepower to back it up. TongFu allowed the Phantom Lancer to farm for 20 minutes before coming out to wreck havoc. |
| Orange vs Rsnake | Orange won 2-0 | The laning phase won it for Orange in game one. Orange's aggressive trilane crushed Rsnake's dual lane and their Enchantress hardly did anything to remedy the situation. Besides, Dark Seer solo killed Lifestealer on the bottom lane and after that, Lifestealer had difficulty getting back to lane to continue his usual farm. Rattlesnake forfeited at 20 minutes. The second game was also another roll over as Rattlesnake were heavily punished in mid-game for their greedy tri-core line-up. |
| LGD.int vs Liquid | Liquid won 2-0 | Liquid took full advantage of a great draft, dominated the laning phase and rode a 16/5/8 Juggernaut by Korok to finish off LGD.int at the 38-minute mark with a lopsided 34-15 kill score. LGD.Int led most of the second game but they could not find an opening to rush into Liquid's base. As a result, Liquid's Weaver and Mirana farmed up a storm and took it back to LGD.Int instead. When Liquid mustered enough courage to push, they killed Bane and Rubick who had no buybacks and thus, resulting the match 2-0 in their favour. |
