Danish squad without a sponsor as eL`Pride closes its doors

Link and the rest of his Danish teammates are now without a sponsor as Lions Pride closes its doors. The team will now be playing under the tag Team Life.

Multi-gaming esports organization Lions Pride has closed its doors and their Dota 2 team, led by Danish player Sylvester 'Link' Hoelgaard are now without a sponsor.

The team will continue to play under the tag Team Life from now until they secure a future sponsor.

We are going to be moving forward as Team Life for the future whilst we search for new sponsors and a new home to take us in, el'Pride were very supportive of us all the time we were there so we'd like to thank them for that and some of the great times we had in our short space there such as at Dreamhack however good things come to an end and we can only concentrate on winning every match we can and improving as a team together

Lions Pride ventured into Dota 2 picking up famous Russian players such as Ivan 'vigoss' Shinkarev and Alexander 'Stalk' Melder. Lions Pride then dissolved their Russian squad due to undisclosed reason and picked up an all-Danish squad on the 12th of May.

Expectations were high for their new squad and they certainly proved it in Dreamhack Summer 2013 where Link and co nearly took down Mousesports in the groupstage. Hampus 'Mini' Olsson, former QPad Red Pandas player, was playing as a stand-in for Lions Pride in Dreamhack and ended up officially joining the team shortly after.

Team Life roster:

Sweden Hampus 'Mini' Olsson (Captain)
Denmark Sylvester 'Link' Hoelgaard
Denmark Mikki 'HesteJoe-Rotten' Junget
Denmark Danny 'Noia' Junget
Denmark Andreas 'Cr1t-' Nielsen
