GEST July will feature 16 of the finest South East Asian teams who qualified through the many layers of GMPGL qualifiers last weekend. The groupstage will begin tomorrow.
16 teams that qualified through GMPGL will be competing against each other in GEST July. Each team will have to fight their way through the double elimination groupstage in order to reach the playoffs. The winner bracket winner and loser bracket winner of each groups will proceed.
The only The International 3 invitee that will be participating in the tournament is Neolution.Orange although they may be playing without their captain Yee Fung 'Mushi' Chia. Two time GEST winner Invasion-MUFC will be missing out on their first GEST event after losing to Orange in the GMPGL qualifiers last weekend. Up-and-coming Malaysian team NarA Stacks will be representing Malaysia alongside Orange instead.

The single elimination playoffs will be played in best-of-three up till the grand final which will be played in best-of-five. The tournament, which will be starting on Thursday and ending on Sunday, will be officially streamed by BeyondTheSummit and Basskip.
