VP narrowly secures spot for TPL playoffs, playoffs begin on 20th

The seventh and final qualifying cup of The Premier League Season Five ended earlier today with Alliance, Mousesports, Evil Geniuses and Virtus.Pro moving on towards the playoffs.

Today marks the end of the seven qualifier cups of The Premier League Season Five after an exciting best of three finals between Mousesports and Virtus.Pro. Virtus.Pro is able to clinch the last 100 points of the Aegis Cup from Mousesports and thus able to secure their spot in the playoffs. On the other hand, Mousesports, by winning 50 points, are also able to proceed in third place with 230 points.

Looking at the standings, Alliance, despite not able to win any points from the last two cups, are able to qualify into the playoffs as first place in the group with 350 points. Along with Alliance, Evil Geniuses secure their spot in the playoffs as fourth place with 220 points.

Playoffs

The playoffs of The Premier League Season Five will start this weekend on 20th July to 21st July where Alliance, Mousesports, Evil Geniuses and Virtus.Pro will fight for the total prize pool of $15,500. All matches played will be in a best of three format with the finals being a best of five.
