After a great performance all in the months leading up to The International 3, many deemed Mousesports as the third best team from Europe and expected them to do well in the tournament. They did not perform very well in the groupstage of the tournament and started the playoffs in the loser bracket. They ended up losing their game against LGD International in the best-of-one series and was eliminated from the tournament.
We caught up with Mousesports carry player Dominik 'Black^' Reitmeier about his experience in Seattle this year and also his thoughts on BurNIng. He also thinks that there will most possibly be a roster change although nothing is really set in stone right now.
We played pretty well in online tournaments. Every team played so much better on LAN because they were more prepared than us. We only have one week to practice and that's why we couldn't come up with new strategies which make us predictable. Every teams just exploited that.
Are there any players that stand-out other than the carry position?
Ferrari did a phenomenal job in the middle lane. He pretty much dominated every lane he had and support wise, I think it's KuroKy. I think he's making very big plays for Na`Vi, setting the tone for the team.
What is the future for Mousesports?
Obviously everyone is pretty down right now and I dont know the future plans for this team. I guess we'll talk about it when we get home. Seems pretty likely that we will have some roster changes maybe because everybody is not really satisfied with the current situation. I can't really talk more about it because we haven't talk about it.
