SK-Gaming ready for PriDe Grand Final

Defeating WolkeR-Gaming gave the Swedish-based team a direct spot in the Grand Final of Prime Defending. The team is guaranteed at least $250 in prize money.

Akke, Tompa, Loda, Bogdan and Rwar could, in the last game, give SK-Gaming the win and a direct place in the Grand Final, where they will play either Storm Games Clan or WolkeR-Gaming depending on the result of the Loser Bracket Final. The win is close at hand, with the Winner Bracket champions starting with a 1-0 lead.

The winner bracket match turned out to be a close one between WolkeR-Gaming and SK-Gaming, both teams coming from an impressive run from the playoffs. The first game of the series, where we saw Beastmaster, Nerubian and Magnataur banned from WG's side, ended in a win for the Ukrainian team. SK-Gaming had Shadowpriest, Zeus and the Centaur banned, but was unable to grab the ever so important first game advantage.

Second game, where SK-Gaming were the Sentinels, the Swedes banned Beastmaster, Warlock and Mirana, while WG took off Nerubian, Magnataur and the Centaur. This game turned to be more luckysome for SK-Gaming, winning the match and evening out the score to 1-1. The team showed great team spirit in the last game too, and was able to secure the grand final spot.
