Jordan "TehFluent" Pennekamp has conducted a guide together with HEARTu.WE5T on where to place your observer wards when playing DotA.
- Although their incredible importance in competitive matches, many players that are just beginning their play in the competitive arena are unable to determine what area is most effective for wards.
There are many areas where you can place observer wards, but to use them as effective as possible there are some key points on the map. Either when you're playing Sentinel or Scourge, there is the Top River, Bottom River and the Middle River. TehFluent explains the three spots thoroughly with screenshots, and here's what he had to say about the Top River:
