Even if the tournament did not drag that many internationally good teams, it did make the two Americans from MeetYourMakers. One of them,
Merlini, told us how he feels about the victory over Team Team in the grand final of the tournament. - We had pretty strong winner bracket matches, we've worked on the strategy for quite a while now, and its truthfully very successful against traditional warlock sand king etcetera lineups. With winning easily in the winner bracket final it started out with the score 1:0 in MYM's favour so they only had to win once, which made them relax. He also thinks that they got out picked the first game, with them usually running massgank strategy, and that it because of that took some more heroes.
In the second game they were sure to get Beastmaster, Furion and Tinker who he thinks is the key heroes and he tells us that they most certainly played a part in the victory.
MeetYourMakers won the winner bracket finals so even with so many people watching on the big screen here in the gaming arena they were pretty comfortable going into the first game, says Merlini, but after losing the feeling went away, and they had to start focusing, even after winning with two games to none in the winner bracket final.
