D-D-D-D-D-DotA! The biggest LAN party in United Kingdom puts DotA on the gaming list, and if more than 32 teams sign up the prize purse sums up to £1,750.

We see more and more prize money tournaments in the DotA scene. Not long ago, the biggest LAN party in the United Kingdom - i-Series - announced a DotA tournament for their 30th edition taking place the 6th of April in Newbury Racecourse & Conference Centre in Newbury, Berkshire. The series have been running for seven years.

They predict that more than 32 teams will sign up, and then the prize sum will be at £1,750. The lower the participation, the lower the prize money. Already over 600 players have signed up, but on their list of tournament signups the number of DotA participants seem fairly low.

Our DotA expert silas- says that the future of DotA is very bright. It has not spread out that much as it did in the beginning, but as DotA gets invited to the game lists of offline events it can become an attraction of its own, without having to be a sub or for fun tournament in otherwise FPS dominated events.

The format is 5vs5 and Random Draft. If you're in to LAN tournaments and you like DotA, don't hesitate to sign up. For more information, enter the links provided below.
