Area08 and NiP team up to host an eSports-Camp

CS:GO Fabio “f4nz0” Schlößer Vila

Gamers will have the chance to attend a boot camp at the Ninjas' training academy. For three days, they will be taught by professional coaches as well as legends and stars.

Personalities such as Tommy “Potti” Ingemarsson will supervise the attendees at the Area08 Academy, a company co-owned by the Ninjas in Pyjamas. From June 27-29 they will undergo training and also will be able to meet and greet their personal biggest heroes.

It is a great chance for individuals to broaden their skills as they will be supported by some of the most intelligent people in the scene. This could be a development that heralds the advent of more and more training centres being opened, such as Games Academy in Brazil, which is the perfect example of a successful eSports-academy. This will also provide opportunities for ex-pros to stay in the scene by teaching the young, a development that makes sense alongside schools opening up eSports-classes, and will only bring us nearer to the role model of real sports.
