ESL has introduced a number of significant changes to their ruleset for their tournaments, notably shortening the deathcam.
One of the most requested changes to the game from pros and casual players is for Valve to change the way deathcam operates, pointing out that in its current state it offers too much information to the dead player.
Now the fans have gotten their way (partially atleast) with the announcement that ESL has reduced the deathcam length in their leagues in tournaments from six seconds to two seconds. Along with this landmark change, the organization has now officially adopted Valve's matchmaking times, as well as cut down the time that is in place after a round ends, as well as implemented a ban on jump throw scripts.
