Dreamhack has revealed the official format and schedule for the upcoming Cluj-Napoca major at the end of this month.

The last CS:GO major of the year is nearly upon us; in preparation for the event later this month, Dreamhack has gone ahead and released more details about DH Cluj-Napoca, most notably the format.
Firstly, the event has been extended from the usual four days to five, to allow all games played to be broadcast to millions of fans online. The three days of the event, starting on the 28th, will be dedicated entirely to the tournament's group stage. The sixteen participating teams will be split across four groups; the first team to win two matches in a row in said groups will advanced to the playoff, while the other three teams in the group will fight it out for the second spot from each group.
Each group stage match will be BO1 with the exception on the decider, but once all playoff teams have been determined, all matches in the single elimination bracket will be best-of-three. The playoffs will be played out over the weekend, with the the semis and grandfinals match rounding out the event on Sunday. Check out the schedule for the entire event below:
