TakeTV has announced the second edition of Acer Predator Masters 2 featuring sixteen teams battling it out for the lion's share of $40,000.
TakeTV has announced the return of its Acer Predator Masters. The new season will feature sixteen teams and a prize pool of $40,000. The first edition of tournament was won by HellRaisers who managed to defeat Mousesports 4-3 in a very exciting grand final.
The new season will start on October 5 with a slightly changed format. The sixteen teams will be divided into two equal groups with eight in each one where they will be playing best-of-two matches in a round robin format. The top four teams of each group will then move on to the LAN finals. The LAN finals will see a double-elimination bracket using best-of-three format, with the exception of grand finals that will be played as a best-of-five.
The organisers said that the top eight finishers will get automatically qualified for the next season, which means that we will see more of Acer Predator Masters. The English cast will be covered once again by Rahim 'Babam' Abdullaev, who made his LAN casting debut at the finals of the first season. The LAN finals are scheduled for January 7th-10th.
