The Group Stages of the Gfinity Spring Masters have concluded, with EnVyUs, NiP, Virtus.pro, and Cloud9 making it to the playoffs.
The Group Stages of the event started yesterday but carried on until today after a series of lengthy delays caused many of the matches to be pushed back.
Group A saw EnVyUs asserting their dominance as they went undefeated, crushing both Team Property and NiP 2-0. The second playoff spot went to NiP, as they were able to comeback from their devastating loss against EnVyUs by defeating Team Property 2-1. Gamers2 and Team Property have both failed to qualify for the playoffs - Gamers2 did not even manage to win a single match while Team Property only won one.
Group B had Virtus.pro going undefeated in their matches against hometeam Infused and North American giants Cloud9, and the second playoff spot went to Cloud9 after they beat Team Orbit twice to qualify. Team Infused were at the bottom of the group while Team Orbit came in at 3rd with a 1-2 win/loss ratio.
EnVyUs will now face Cloud9 tomorrow in the semi-finals, while Virtus.pro will face NiP. Dates and match pages can be found in the bracket below:
