CEVO have revealed more details regarding the upcoming CEVO Season 7 Pro Placement Tournament including the dates, groups, and map schedule for the event.
The qualifiers, which will decide the teams that will play in the CEVO Season 7 Professional division, will take place from March 22nd - April 9th online. CEVO have invited a total of 32 teams from North America and Europe to parcicipate in the qualifiers, but only 2 teams from each division will actually qualify for the regular season.
Four groups will be created in each division, with four teams in each group. The top two teams from each group will then advance to an eight team BO3 double elimination bracket, and the top two teams from that bracket will secure a spot in the regular season.
The group stages for the qualifers will be played from Sunday, March 22nd to Sunday, March 29th, while the bracket stage will be played from Monday, March 30th to Wednesday, April 15th.

Both the group stage and the bracket stage will use the standard Valve Major map pool, which means that de_season played in Season 6 has been replaced with de_cobblestone. Otherwise, all other maps are identical.
