Can't Say Wips and Team Redemption qualify for Major All Stars

The final stage of the South East Asian qualifiers for Major All Stars has come to an end with Can't Say Wips and Team Redemption securing their places in the LAN finals. They join Rave and Invasion as the four South East Asian representatives in Kuala Lumpur and now wait to find out who their four opponents will be from around the world.

The South East Asian qualifiers have come to an end, finally coming down from 695 registered teams to just the two qualified teams. In their qualifier journey Can't Say Wips secured a dominant victory over Signature.Trust in the first round, but were forced to fight for their spot in the tournament against the rise of TnC Dota 2. TnC had comfortably knocked out Korean team MVP.HOT6 in the previous round and after taking the second game in the final with a Meepo in the draft, yet another case of controversy with admins allowing the use of macros during the match. With that victory TnC looked like there could be an upset on the cards, however Can't Say Wips came out strong in the final game to claim their place in the LAN finals.

In the top half of the bracket, Team Redemption had a dominant rise to secure their qualification, easily dispatching controversial addition Natit Gaming in the opening round before securing a dominant 2-0 victory over the last remaining Korean team Pokerface. Their victory means this will be the first LAN event for the former-Arrow Gaming roster under their new team name.

The two qualifiers complete the SEA lineup for the main event in Kuala Lumpur joining Rave and Invasion. Major All Stars will now begin the next batch of qualifiers for the remaining four places. The European qualifiers are expected to feature teams battling for the two available qualifier spots, while the Chinese and American qualifiers will only have one available spot each, with the $100,000 main event due to take place next month.
