North America just wrapped up Stage 1 open qualifiers for VCT 2022, and the list of teams qualified for the Stage 1 Challengers has been determined. 12 teams will be battling to grab a seat in the first Masters for Valorant in 2022.

Unfortunately, names like Complexity, T1, FaZe Clan and TSM are absent from the list of teams as they were disqualified quite early in the Open Qualifiers stage, thus missing out from competing in the Stage 1 Challengers.
Mechanics
The NA Stage 1 Challengers will be split into two – Group Stage and Playoffs.
Group Stage
- 2 groups of six teams will be playing in a Round Robin Format
- Top 4 teams advance to Playoffs
- Bottom 2 teams are eliminated
- All matches are Bo3
Playoffs
- 8 teams will play in a Double-elimination bracket
- All matches except Lower Bracket Final and Grand Final are Bo3
- Lower Bracket Final and Grand Final are Bo5
- Finalist teams will qualify for Stage 1 Masters
Match schedule
