Next weekend, the voice of Sarah Kerrigan (Glynnis Talken Campbell) will be doing a book signing at the Seaside Scottish Festival at Seaside Park in Ventura, CA.
I was able to meet her at the same festival last year and she truly appreciates her fans from the StarCraft community. While she has not done any work on StarCraft II (yet?) she does write romantic/historic/fantasy novels and has a fan base for those also. If you'd like to meet her the festival is happening October 13th and one-day passes are $14 (USD).
If you plan on attending let me know as I will be attending as well and wearing my GosuGamers t-shirt. I do hope to see some fellow StarCraft fans out there even though it does seem like an odd place to actually meet up. The festival itself has a variety of booths offering all sorts of books, clothing and various other things. There is also a good variety of food at the event and is right by the beach.
She has worked in many Blizzard games including: StarCraft (Sarah Kerrigan, Medic), Diablo (Rogue, Gillian the Barmaid), Diablo II (Kashya) and WarCraft III (The Dryad). Her Wikipedia article is also reporting that she has been picked up for StarCraft II, but this is the only confirmation I have seen for it, so hopefully we will find out soon from her!
