MYM.MVP's DongRaeGu advanced last night to his third MLG final in a row only to meet his biggest rival MarineKingPrime for yet another time. The back-and-forth series ended with a win for the zerg and with $5,000 in his pocket.
After finishing 6th in the round robin stage and taking literally the last possible playoffs seed, DongRaeGu had to make his way through the whole bracket, defeating MC (3-1) and Ganzi (3-0) to face MarineKingPrime in what is now an MLG tradition. Their rivalry began at MLG Winter Arena and continued onto the Winter Championship with MKP winning both times. Although he opened the Spring Arena grand final with a win, MKP could not see his MLG hat-trick completed.
