Group A of the second Group Stage has concluded, but Group B still has all its matches left.
Six teams are left in the $180,000 APEX Season 2, all of which are Korean. The last two teams eliminated were EnVyUs and KongDoo Uncia, while Lunatic Hai and RunAway are the first teams confirmed for the playoffs.
Now, it's up to Group B's teams to compete for the final two spots there. Group B consists of high quality teams as well, as is expected this far into the tournament. As group winners of the previous phase, MetaAthena and KongDoo Panthera got to pick their first opponents. If we think they made the decisions, then those teams should be the favorites. But today's Bo5s will be very close and important.

Today will feature the first round matches of Group B, then tune in March 17th and 21st for the completion of this secondary Group Stage, The entire event is scheduled to conclude with the Grand Finals on April 8th. Almost half of the prizepool will be given to the victors, but the title and honor will of course be the real prize. Sadly still, it seems unlikely Orisa will see play.
