A Viewers Guide to Overwatch Carbon Series Week 3

Week 3 gets started as the North American standings become clearer and clearer.

The Overwatch Carbon Series started on February 20th, and continues to bring entertainment a few days in every week. As the six teams continue the round-robin phase, the big amount of data and consistency this tournament brings is a great help in judging the North American Overwatch scene.

We are almost at the half-way part of the first phase of the Carbon Series, meaning most unique matchups have already happened. The standings can be seen below:

Hammers Esports is the current number one, and is performing as we have come to expect from them over the past weeks. Their 3-1 victory against Immortals last week gave them a bit of breathing room at the top, but they will have to repeat this feat today. The schedule of matches has worked out in a way that these two teams will once again meet, and we can see which team did their homework this time.

At the bottom of the list, Team Liquid continues to struggle with claiming their ground in NA. Similarly, LG's new roster is not performing as well as we ourselves expected. While they did manage to defeat Immortals 3-2, an impressive feat and close match, LG should want more. LG and TL will face off next, as the first match of today. Liquid will want to win to get a victory on the board, but LG should win if they want to confidently keep looking to rise above at least compLexity, and Immortals.

You will be able to tune in again, today at 5:15 PM PST/8:15 PM EST/02:15 AM CET. Join ZP, Hexagrams and Gillfrost for another day of high quality Overwatch: https://www.twitch.tv/carbonentertainment.
