Map awareness and positioning is the key to improve. The next practical map jumps will help you get slightly more knowledge than your facing opponents.

And those content creators that take the effort to help the public are very valuable. In the video below, we see a great example of such informative content.
After watching the video, you should be able to save some valuable seconds on these maps, or even flank in surprising ways. To reiterate, the first map jump discussed (located in Volskaya Industries) is probably one of the more unknown jumps in Overwatch. You simply stand in the corner and jump until you get up on the edge. Keep jumping on the ledges and you reach the roof. This jump is useful to give a certain element of surprise to your enemies. You can plant a turret on the roof or get yourself in a good DPS position to confuse the enemy. However your escape plan needs to be really well organised, because it’s fairly difficult to go back to safe ground when you are behind enemy lines. An important note: the large characters such as Reinhardt, Roadhog and Zarya can’t make the jump.
Besides this jump, in the video several more are discussed. Temple of Anubis (another 2CP map, remember?) is featured heavily, as is Gibraltar and Hanamura.
One thing to note is that some of these jumps are rocket jumps, done by heroes such as Soldier: 76 and Zarya. Since the recent patch, which added the Christmas event, Zarya can no longer rocket/grenade jump when she is shielded. So keep that in mind!
