This holiday season, enjoy the gift of Overwatch with the Alienware Merry Melee.
The holiday season is upon us. Egg-based alcoholic beverages, brightly-colored spheres mounted on trees, and merriment. And since nothing is more merry than a giant German man crushing people with a hammer, it’s the perfect time for the Alienware Merry Melee!
As with the Monthly Melees that came before, this event will run for two days: a group stage on December 1st and a double-elimination playoff stage on December 2nd. Eight North American teams will vie for a share of a $5,000 prize pool, but only two will walk away in the money.
The tournament will be the debut for new team Rly Cool Guys, which is anchored by ex-Cloud 9 players Reaver and Grego. They’ll be joined by the new Cloud 9, compLexity, FaZe, Liquid, Method, Immortals, and Kingdom.

- Prize pool: 1st place receives $3,000 and 2nd place receives $2,000
