Gamestah is teaming up with ZOWIE to bring to the region a chance for players to participate in regular competition
The "ZOWIE Gamestah Overwatch League" is planned to have weekly play with prizes as well as a point system to reward consistent performers. The first five weeks of play are free to enter, but after that there will be the finals where only the top eight performing teams will be invited for the chance at even greater prizes.
The league starts 27 June, with Monday and Thursday being the days of play. For more information about the league format, the prizes up for grabs and how to enter, head over to Gamestah's site or their Battlefy.
As an organisation, Gamestah is quickly becoming one of the go-to places for competition within the Oceanic region. They've already got the Ember Series going for Heroes of the Storm, and now their expansion into Overwatch is only endearing themselves to the community even more.
