Competition in ANZ starts up soon, signups open
Every scene needs to start somewhere, and Best of the Beta #1 is where ANZ shall find theirs.
Everybody start your engines and get ready for a blast, as there is now a tournament starting up for residents of Australia and New Zealand. For the past year HappyRage has been helping in developing the ANZ scene for Heroes of the Storm, and now he is looking to do the same with Overwatch, with Best of the Beta #1, an all ANZ tournament.
As Overwatch is still in beta, and there is currently not all that much to the competitive scene as of yet, and therefore prizes are quite limited. Recognition, reputation, and a taste of competition is what is on offer so far, and as we get closer to the full release of the game, this will pay off once more players and teams enter the scene.
Players are able to sign up either as a team or if they're looking for one, as a 'Free Agent' to be sorted into teams once the event gets under way. It is set to get under way on April 10, with an 11am(AEST) start, and for more information and how to sign up for the event, head over to the Best of the Beta #1 on Battlefy.
