"Recall" - Overwatch's First Animated Short premieres March 21st
Yesterday we got a first look at some upcoming Overwatch content, and today we got an official date and place for learning about Winston's lifestory.
One thing Blizzard games are known and loved for is the great detail and polish that go into their lore and storytelling. With Overwatch being a multiplayer shooter without any singleplayer content, Blizzard decided to go with a different format of telling the rich story behind their newest title: Animated Shorts. The first of many to come will premiere on March 21 at 12 p.m. PTD.
The first short will be titled "Recall" and focus on the origins of everyones favorite gorilla and scientist, Winston. It will also explore the background story to the map Watchpoint: Gibraltar. If you are a resident of the United States, you can take a glimpse into the the short with a exclusive 60 second teaser that will air prior to "Better Call Saul" on AMC.
