BlizzCon will feature two panels focused on Overwatch

We might still not know when Closed Beta will start, but today we learned what Blizzard is guaranteed to share about Overwatch at BlizzCon.

Today Blizzard put live the schedules for November 6th and 7th, the main days of BlizzCon. Besides the World Championship matches for all of Blizzard's eSports, and a handful of community events, the schedules also show us what panels the Blizzard crew has planned for us. World of Warcraft, StarCraft II, Hearthstone and Heroes of the Storm are all getting their share of attention, but Overwatch will also be the main point of attention in two panels. As with all other panels, these will be watchable live by people going to BlizzCon in person or people who have purchased the Virtual Ticket.

Friday 6 November:

Overwatch: What's New
4:45 - 5:45 PM PST

"Join Overwatch developers as they discuss the newest heroes, maps, and gameplay features coming in Blizzard's team-based first-person shooter."

With the pacing of new heroes that have been announced lately, and with BlizzCon being a special occasion and all, this panel is bound to announce details about a handful of upcoming heroes. They still have a lot of heroes available that they can release to the public, as shown in images all over the internet like this one:

Saturday 7 November:

The World of Overwatch
11:30 AM - 12:30 PM PST

"Take a deep dive into the expansive lore of the Overwatch world and discover the inspiration behind the game's unique visuals, characters, and locations."

Blizzard is known for building very rich universes, with deep storylines and lore focused development. Overwatch seems to be no different, and we are all very excited to see what Blizzard has to share. For now, as a warm up, you can take a look (again) at the Cinematic Trailer of Overwatch:

With Blizzcon 4 weeks away exactly, and with Fall officially ending some time in December, there is still hope that Blizzard will finally release the Closed Beta version of the game so that we can finally start playing (or watching) Overwatch content.

For more information on the scheduling of Blizzcon, you can go to the official site for the Friday and Saturday schedules.
