Honkai Star Rail Version 3.7 drops on 5 November with Cyrene, new Currency Wars game mode, and more

The Amphoreus storyline is set to reach its dramatic conclusion in Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.7.

Amphoreus' saga of heroes is almost at an end. Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.7 “As Tomorrow Became Yesterday” is set to be released on 5 November, and will feature the climactic finale of the Amphoreus storyline, the new 5-star character Cyrene, the new ‘Currency Wars’ game mode, and tons of other updates.

Read on as we break down all of the new content coming in Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.7:

Cyrene completes the saga

Cyrene wields the Ice element and follows the Path of Remembrance, buffing her teammates by increasing their DMG output and activating all of their ultimates with the first usage of her own ultimate in battle. She also has a special synergy with her fellow Chrysos Heirs, as her buffs having exclusive special effects for them. And, unique among characters following the Path of Remembrance, Cyrene's memosprite is none other than herself.

Having Cyrene on the field automatically increases the DMG dealt by all allies, with her skill also deploying a Zone that causes any DMG dealt by allies to trigger an additional instance of True DMG. Meanwhile, every action a teammate takes stacks "Recollection" for Cyrene. When Recollection is fully stacked, Cyrene can activate her Ultimate, with the first usage of her ultimate in a battle instantly activating the ultimates of all teammates and making her Zone permanent. In addition, Cyrene's ultimate also summons her memosprite form. This
memosprite Cyrene can choose to enhance any teammate–and if the target is a Chrysos Heir, they will be granted an exclusive special effect. And when memosprite Cyrene takes action, it can either buff teammates or deal damage to all enemies.

Cyrene and her signature Light Cone, “This Love, Forever”, will be available from the release of Version 3.7 on 5 November all the way to its end on 16 December–the first for any character banner in the game. The “Cherished Recollection” Top-up event will also run for the entire duration of Version 3.7, with players receiving unique rewards for accruing Oneiric Shards during its duration. The final reward for Cherished Recollection will unlock a unique skin for Cyrene's weapon that changes some of her combat and ultimate animations.

There Version 3.7 banners will also feature reruns for six of Amphoreus' Chrysos Heirs. The first half will feature Castorice, Hyacine, and Tribbie, while the second half will include Phainon, Mydei, and Cipher.

New Currency Wars game mode

Aside from the conclusion of the Amphoreus storyline, the other major content update coming in Version 3.7 is the new ‘Currency Wars’ game mode. In this new mode, players can form teams of up to ten characters, divided into "on-field" and "off-field" teams, that work together in combat.

When characters of the same combat type or faction fight side by side, they will trigger special “Bond” effects, unleashing greater power as a team. For example, the Bond effect for a team featuring characters from the Xianzhou Luofu (Jing Yuan, Yanqing, Fu Xuan, Huohuo, Fugue, Tingyun, and Qingque) allows them to summon the Lightning-Lord, which attacks all enemy targets whenever it takes action. In addition, this mode will feature enhanced, or entirely new abilities for characters to shake up the combat experience.

At launch, Currency Wars will feature 61 participating characters, all of whom will be available for free trial. As a major permanent mode, in addition to challenge rewards, it also features a periodic reward system similar to "Divergent Universe," and will introduce new challenges and growth experiences through updates. You can check out the Currency Wars official Highlights Page for more information on this new game mode.

New Planar Ornament relics, events, and quality-of-life updates

Other content updates coming in Version 3.7 include two new Planar Ornament relic sets, namely the “Amphoreus, The Eternal Land” and “Tengoku@Livestream” sets. The “Amphoreus, The Eternal Land” set increases its wearer's Crit Rate and increases the Speed of all allies if its wearer's memosprite is on the field. Meanwhile, the “Tengoku@Livestream” set increases its wearer's Crit DMG, which gets boosted further if they consume a large amount of skill points in the same turn.

Version 3.7's main event, "Snack Dash," invites Trailblazers to take part in a lighthearted competition full of creativity and fun. Madam Ruan Mei's delightful “cat cake” creations will race across obstacle-filled tracks, striving for the finish line and higher rankings. Among the rewards in this event is a new cosmetic item for the Trailblazer that allows their cat cake version to sit on their head, part of the new “Trailblaze Fashion” system being introduced in this version. The “Deliverer's Wreath” headwear is also available for free after completing this version's Main Missions.

Then there's the “Relic Recon” event, which will give players a much easier time to farm their desired relics. Version 3.7 also features the standard slate of events included in every update, including the “Gift of Odyssey” log-in event for 10 free Star Rail Special Passes, as well as Planar Fissure and Garden of Plenty events for easier Planar ornament relic and enhancement material farming.

Speaking of farming relics and enhancement materials, a much-needed quality-of-life update will soon allow players to get everything they need without having to repeatedly complete challenges. Players can choose to spend up to 240 Trailblazer Power at once, and get the equivalent amount of rewards from completing Cavern of Corrosion, Calyx, and Stagnant Shadow challenges in just one run. The same also applies to Echo of War challenges, allowing players to consume all three weekly reward opportunities in just one go.

Finally, Version 3.7 will also feature an update to free Limited 5-star Character Exchange. From the start of Version 3.7 to the end of Version 4.0, Topaz and her signature Light Cone “Worrisome, Blissful” can be acquired in the Stellar Convergence shop. One Golden Companion Spirit, which can be used to acquire Topaz and other available characters in the Stellar Convergence shop, will be given for free to players upon logging in.
