Groups B and C of WePlay Dota 2 tournament have ended with Mousesports and QPAD Red Pandas each grabbing first with Team Empire and Absolute Legends Academy also qualifying. Groups F and H will play next weekend.
With the conclusion of Group B and Group C of WePlay Dota 2, four more teams - Mousesports, Empire, QPAD Red Pandas, and Absolute Legends Academy - have shown their worth and qualified for the second groupstage of the tournament.
Mousesports, originally not involved in this tournament, came in as a last minute replacement for iCCup2. They later went on to defeat iCCup1 in the first round of Group B and afterwards won against Team Empire in the Winner Bracket final for the qualification.
Second placer of Techlabs March Cup, iCCup struggled to find their rhythm and lost their Loser Bracket game against Danish team, Absolute Legends. In the rematch of Absolute Legends versus team Empire in the Loser Bracket final, Absolute Legends was still unable to topple the Russians.
Over in Group C QPAD Red Pandas take it all with two very convincing wins against TCM-Gaming.Dota2 in the first round and Absolute Legends Academy in the second. QPAD is the second replacement team this weekend to take first place in their group.
In the lower bracket Absolute Legends Acadamy is able to bring down TCM Gaming. Their impressive Lone Druid play helped to secure them second place for Group C.

The last two groups of Groupstage 1, Group F and Group H, will battle it out on the 6th and 7th of April to see which four teams will continue on to the Groupstage 2. The teams for group F are the always popular Team Liquid, 4 Friends + Chrillee, paiN Gaming, and skill difference. Will paiN Gaming be able to qualify with their new roster? Or will they fall to skill difference?
Group H featuring the teams: Evil Geniuses, Dust Gaming, Aurochs, and Artyk Gaming.
