dd.Dota takes group lead, nth places 2nd

On the second to last playday, dd.Dota takes the group win in ESL's EMS One Spring group stage. The European mix goes through 3-0 after bringing down nth. The Swedes advance as well as the group's 2nd.

dd.Dota tops group B and along with NoTidehunter they are the fifth and sixth teams to qualify for the LAN finals in Poland, the exact location of which will be announced this week.

The European mix managed to bring down NoTidehunter in a very convincing fashion, giving the Swedes no room to farm by ganking and pushing. dd.Dota executed their ganks with high precision and NoTidehunters line-up was not able to cope with the early to mid-game pressure.

Infinity Gaming and Rat in the Dark were not able to bring down the two favorites in this group, placing third and fourth in the group.

The group stage will conclude tomorrow with group D being played out. Judging from recent performances and results, group D will be a close match-up, seeing as the three Russian teams RoX.KIS, Empire and Virtus.pro are in good shape. Aspiring North-American team Eosin+4 will have a tough time, but all matches being best-of-ones could give them the element of surprise and a chance at taking a top spot.
