After much delay, the first phase of the G-1 Champions League Asia qualifier is finally over and eight teams will be going into the next phase of the tournament. The second phase of the qualifier will begin on the 19th of March.
Phase one of the G-1 Champions League Asia qualifier is over and only eight teams have survived the first two days of the tournament.
To much surprise, none of the Chinese nor Philippine teams survived the first phase. Three teams from Singapore and two teams from Thailand will be going through to the second phase of the tournament.

The eight qualified teams will be going up against eight invited teams in the second phase of the qualifiers.
The organizers informed Gosugamers that phase two will begin on the 19th of March but they have yet to decide on a tournament format. However, it is very likely to be a groupstage with four groups of four. More information will be disclosed in the upcoming hours.

The four teams that made it through to the third phase from the second will be going up against the top four placers of last year's G-1 League.
