LGD.Int eliminates Vici Gaming from GEST The Challenge

Vici Gaming will be the first to be eliminated from GEST The Challenge as LGD.Int came back after a loss in the first game to take two convincing wins in the second and third. LGD.Int will face the loser of NeoES.Orange and MUFC at 20:00 SGT tomorrow.

Game 1

In the first game, both teams went for unorthodox picks, LGD.Int picked up the Juggernaut and VG picked up the Shadow Fiend. Even more unorthodox was LGD.Int's normal hard carry player, Pajkatt used Lone Druid and solo the off-lane while Brax played the Juggernaut.

LGD.Int and Vici Gaming were both very passive in the laning phase. LGD.Int tried to open up the game by smoking up but Clockwerk was too far back for them to do anything.

Top 4 farm 20 minutes

Despite being heavily stopped in the game yesterday against MUFC, Cty's Shadow Fiend was once again farming up a storm and got his Shadow Blade before the 9th minute mark. He also picked up the First Blood against Lone Druid due to some lack of focus from LGD.Int's side. Juggernaut responded with a Shadow Blade of his own, just 1 minute later than Shadow Fiend's.

LGD.Int forced the issue in mid-game as they attempted a push at top but was successfully repelled by Keeper of the Light and Shadow Fiend. A few kills were traded but it was LGD.Int who got overconfident and chased heroes past enemy lines and was severely punished for it. Shadow Fiend played extremely well juking the Juggernaut and rewarded himself with a Mask of Madness.

Vici Gaming snuck a Roshan and gave the Aegis to Shadow Fiend. Shadow Fiend was up to 147 creep kills by then.

LGD.Int sticked to their guns and continued pushing although the battles were not meant for them to win. VG slowly built their lead up through LGD.Int's bad positioning and eventually killed the next Roshan and went in for the push.

Game 2

VG started out game two with a very smart trilane causing LGD.Int to switch their lanes and lost out on a few previous seconds of experience. VG also placed clockwerk to solo mid with surprisingly great results against Magnus.

It was VG's trilane who made the first move of the game as they dumped all their skills on the Rubick. The attack was turned around in favour of LGD.Int due to the damage that came out of the support Gyrocopter. All of VG's trilane heroes died in the assault. The lane was really lost when VG once again engaged onto the Rubick with crippling results as the Nature's Prophet teleported in to help with the battle.

The game went into a dormant state between the 8 minutes and 13 minutes in which Brax's Weaver managed to farm up a Sacred Relic.

LGD.Int capitalized on their small lead and attempted a siege at the bottom tower but it was nicely repelled by Queen of Pain's well placed Sonic Wave. Four of LGD.Int's heroes died in the siege and Queen of Pain rewarded herself with a 15 minutes Orchid Malevolence.

As things were just starting to look up for VG, LGD.Int initiated a good smoke gank to which they wiped all of VG's heroes and traded none of theirs. LGD.Int took down the tower VG was so heavily defending before the fight and Roshan later on. Much to the viewers' surprise, the Aegis was given to the support Gyrocopter.

By 25 minutes, G's Magnus has picked up a Refresher Orb and it was way too much for VG to handle. They lost a fight outside their base and another fight after LGD.Int regrouped to end the game.

Game 3

VG's off-lane Lone Druid kicked off the game by intercepting the creeps from between the tier-two and tier-three tower despite losing a lot of hp for it. LGD.Int opted for their trademark Lycanthrope this game, capitalizing on VG's inability to defend towers well. Lycanthrope pushed down his lane tower in the 5th minute and Lone Druid was in no position to defend the second tower.

In contrary to the first two games, game three was much more action packed with many kills exchanges but LGD.Int have the upper-hand with more towers taken down.

By 15 minutes, LGD.Int had already taken down all of VG's outer towers due to the sheer pushing power from Lycanthrope. LGD.Int had total map control by then and VG cannot do anything but wait in their base for the impending push. Anti-Mage was however, heavily farming in hopes to bring down LGD.Int in the game.

19 minutes into the game, LGD.Int was already knocking on VG's front door. LGD.Int took down the mid and bot barracks without much of a contest and then eventually pushed down the top for the gg.
