In an article on Ogaming.tv, Thud summarizes his conversation with David Kim about several HotS units and skills and their possible tweaking in the future.

According to Kim, Void Rays and Widow Mines are units that might suffer a nerf at one point of time. The Mines in particular are likely to receive a change to the explosion radius, however, and not the damage, keeping the viable against units like Stalkers but making them less obliterating against concentrated packs of units like workers or Zerglings. At the same time, Kim admits that Void Rays are packing slightly too much firepower and play a breaking role in PvP and late-game PvZ.

On the other hand, Protoss' Oracles might be treated to a slight buff as, according to Kim, committing to an Oracle opening is very "engaging" for the protoss because of the high gas cost and how hard it is to make the opening profitable.

Finally, Thud and Kim discuss two units that at this point of time seem to have hit a balanced spot: the Hellbat and the Ultralisk. GosuGamers readers will remember that Hellbat drops which used to deal severe damage to the mineral lines were nerfed a month ago by increasing the space each Hellbat takes when loaded into Medivac. As for the Ultralisk, Kim justifies the removal of Burrow Charge by explaining several bugs that it caused as well as the skill being very similar to Stalkers' Blink. However, discussions are still ongoing about if Burrow Charge should be reinstalled in the game as to give Ultralisks some efficient way to reach the high-damage units of the Terran mech.
