Four remain in The Defense 3



Virtus.Pro, Dignitas, Liquid, and Fnatic.EU are the four remaining teams as The Defense 3 heads towards its grand finale. The champion of the tournament will win a whooping $10,000 in cash.

After a long grueling season, The Defense 3 is finally at its final sprint. Only four teams remain in the tournament and the teams will be fighting for a piece of the $20,000 cash prize.

Virtus.Pro will be going up against Team Dignitas in the Winner Bracket finals. VP is coming into this game as the favourite but Dignitas has had an amazing season in The Defense 3, taking down Mousesports in the Winner Bracket quarter-finals and NoTidehunter in the semis.

Liquid will be battling against the Fnatic.EU in the semi-finals of the Loser Bracket. Starting off in the playoffs at the bottom, Liquid has had an amazing run in the past couple of months taking down RdM, 3DMax, Mousesports and recently, Evil Geniuses.

Fnatic on the other hand, started off TD3 strong, winning all their games in the groupstage and disappoingly fell to EG in their first game of the playoffs. Fnatic.EU went on to swipe through their opponents from the loser bracket eliminating 4FC, Na'Vi, and NoTidehunter.



The Winner Bracket final between VP and Dignitas will be played on the 8th of March at 20:00 CET. The Loser Bracket semis has been postponed indefinitely.
