

The odds were stacked in favor of PartinG, the world champion top Code-S player against Dream - the Terran Code A youngster. Eyes were on the stage as the second semi-finals started. The question was - can Dream climb the mountain and beat PartinG?
Dream vs PartinG
Starting up the first match on Cloud Kingdom Dream bares his teeth with a bunker right next to PartinG's pylon. Probes get pulled as PartinG fends off the early aggression with ease. Both players expand and Dream pokes up the ramp and lures PartinG's forces away. PartinG traps the units with force-fields but Dream has another big force coming in from behind. Dream's bio manages to get a big number of probes as PartinG finally manages to deal with the situation using his first Immortal. Dream pushes his advantage to a 20 supply lead and goes in for the kill. PartinG shows his Templars as Dream tries a drop and thinks better of it. Dream pushes his lead to 40 supply and simply goes in for the kill. PartinG pulls probes but can not defend and the GG is called. 1-0 for the Terran.
PartinG goes for a defensive one base Robo while Dream simply expands normally on Ohana. The Protoss builds up a lot of Sentries with an eventual attack in mind and sends an Observer to scout ahead. PartinG goes in with two Immortals a ton of Sentries and a strong force. With PartinG's great control Dream simply does not manage to defend, put up bunkers in time or get out enough Medivacs. PartinG charges forward with his forces gaining a supply lead and forcing the GG from Dream.
Dream goes three command centers as PartinG expands normally on Daybreak. Later a Twilight council and Forge go down for PartinG as he scouts the Terran base with an Observer. In response he starts off his third Nexus. Dream pushes forward with a bio force as he builds his Ghost Academy to counter PartinG's Archons and Templars. PartinG churns out Observers as Dream keeps scanning and taking them out. Dream cloak's up his ghosts and pushes into the base doing a large amount of damage. After a prolonged engagement the supply numbers are even yet dream's composition is better with lots of Ghosts. Dream pushes PartinG's third with the cloaked Ghosts doing so much damage and PartinG's few Colossi simply can not defend. As Dream destroys PartinG's army and gains a huge supply lead the Protoss has no choice but to tap out.
Entombed Valley is the scene for the next match. Dream starts off building two command centers. PartinG gets a large amounts of Sentries as the game seems to go similarly to game two. Dream scouts the forward Pylon and goes into bunker production just as PartinG comes in with a huge army. PartinG tries to break the bunker line with a huge supply lead but simply can not do it before Stim and Combat Shields are done. PartinG retreats under upgrades, Zealot charge and Storm research and Dream is on his tail. Dream charges to prevent PartinG's third and drops into the main to cause a bit of damage. Terran bio keeps harassing PartinG as Dream keeps macroing up getting all the way up to four bases and Ghosts. PartinG manages to hold off all fronts as Dream keeps dropping everywhere. PartinG gets a supply lead after a successful fight in the middle of the map but doesn't go forward. PartinG puts out the DTs but simply doesn't manage to deal damage. Dream maxes out and pushes in to take the fourth match and be the second finalist.
