Natus Vincere have defended their title in GosuLeague's premier division. Their last match against 6th ranked Svenhunterz today ended 2:0 placing them one point above Empire after a seven-week season stuffed with matches.
This is the second GosuLeague season in attendance for the starstudded lineup and despite the much higher level of play compared to season 4, Puppey, Dendi, LightOfHeaven, XBOCT and ARS-ART proved a second time why they belong to the best. Out of seven matches held in best-of-two fashion, Na`Vi scored two points for each full victory and one point for each draw, adding up to a total of twelve to bag the championship worth $2,500.
Second placed Empire follow closely however, after a similarly great showing with only one draw more; Mouz and NEXT follow in third and fourth place with a distinct difference to the agressively playing CIS squads. Looking at the results for each round makes clear quickly that our new top three compete almost at the same level, seeing neither Na`Vi, nor Empire, nor Mouz able to achieve a full victory in their matches against each other. In our secondary divisions, the last matches are to get played out this week as well. 4FC, 3DMAX and aL are in for the competition upgrade in 2a, WhA and OoT will have to play out a champion in 2b.
