After an intense few months of competition, the G-1 Champions League finally concluded with DK convincingly beating World Elite in the grand finals. DK claim their second championship of the year, after their WGT triumphed. After an amazing 2011, will their reign ever come to an end?
Their opponents in World Elite certainly proved themselves on route to the grand final, ousting the likes of iG, PanDa and then LGD through the use of innovative picks.

Game one started fairly well for WE, with their bottom trilane of Windrunner, Naga and Lina managing to claim first blood on DK's Pugna. Facing increasing pressure, DK's trademark taunts started to flow from the mouth of rotK_xb, this seemed to have some effect on WE and things started to turn sour as they started losing teamfights. Eventually, the game turned into a one-sided affair and DK romped to victory with little resistance.
Game Two | |
WE | DK |

Game two saw innovative picks from both sides, with DK picking up Tauren Chieftain to match up against Beastmaster at mid. This game went smoothly for DK and rotk did not make a sound the whole match. WE's play seemed disjointed and allowed DK to run away with their first title of 2012.

LGD | $1580 | |
PanDa | $790 |
LGD beat PanDa for third place and their portion of the prizepool. The question remains, will anyone be able to stop DK in their reign and their monopoly over Chinese DotA?
