MSI Evolution Gaming picks up XctN

After an amazing performance at GEST March last weekend (see), MSI Evolution Gaming have announced that they will be picking up a brand new DotA roster in team XctN alongside a StarCraft 2 and Crossfire team.

Philippines Irymarc Gutierrez
Managing Director, MSI Evolution GT

"With the rise of Filipino teams in International DOTA Tournaments and the development of e-sports in our country, MSI Philippines in support to the gaming community decided to create MSI Evolution GT. MSI EvoGT will support players from three different game categories namely “Starcraft 2, DOTA and Crossfire”. The team will represent MSI in upcoming local and international tournaments and will also have SteelSeries as their official gaming gear sponsor.

I would also want to congratulate the GEST March Champions and our very own MSI-EvoGT DOTA team formerly known as Thenet.Execration. You made MSI Philippines and our country proud! Good luck to all our teams in their future competitions and I hope we get continuous support from our Filipino fans in our upcoming tournaments."

The announcement should come as no surprise for the Philippine team who will now look to carry their sponsor's name to greater heights. Already during the finals this weekend, the team was spotted flashing their new tags against Invasion Red in their 1-0 victory on Sunday.

With GMPGL 4.3 heating up at the same time, we may just see MSIEvoGT add yet another title to their name.
