Blackfade debuted with their first tournament victory by beating the competition in the Serious Business Cup, a one day event with gold coins on the line.Despite the tournament having "just" gold coins on the line, a bunch of well known competitive teams decided to participate in it, including the likes of
Isot Pelit, deCerto and 
Clan Milk.Eventually, Blackfade met up with the fairly unknown Team TBA in the finals, where they managed to defeat them with a straight-up 2-0 to claim their first title since their inception a couple weeks earlier.
