Jakub 'bezo' Sopel wins It's Gosu 1v1 Challenge #2

The second It's Gosu 1v1 Challenge has been played this weekend and Poland Jakub 'bezo' Sopel emerged as the eventual victor.

In last week's 1v1 Challenge, he was defeated by the later winner Germany Maurice 'KheZu' Gutmann in the quarterfinals.

We asked the champion what he did differently this time round, who his toughest opponent thus far was and what he'd like to change for future incarnations of the tournament.

Jakub 'bezo' Sopel said:
I played a lot more carefully this time and made sure to not throw away already won games, like I did against 'KheZu' last week. My hardest opponent this tournament was a player named 'Lyth', but all of them were really good! As for future tournaments, the rules seem good to me, so I wouldn't change them. I'd like it a lot if Artesia or Aluna were in the hero pool in the future, though.

Standings and Prizes

1st - 'bezo' - $40
2nd - 'Fawh' - $20
3rd - 'repugnance' - $10

The hero pool for this issue of the tournament was full of surprises , as players had to adapt to playing heroes such as Voodoo Jester and Rhapsody in an unconventional role in the earlier rounds.

Round 1 - Corrupted Disciple
Round 2 - Rhapsody
Round 3 - Voodoo Jester
Round 4 - Witch Slayer
Round 5 - Flint Beastwood
Round 6 - Demented Shaman
Round 7 - Bombardier
Round 8 - Chipper
