Update: the match between TiG and tdM will take place at 22:00 CET, not 20:00 as earlier reported.
Team It's Gosu has been chosen to replace the now disbanded Ex-Lions team as the team to play against FnaticRaidCall in this week's Honcast King of the Hill play-in match. Going into the event both teams had slight roster issues as Fnatic is still looking for their fifth player to fill the gap left by Henrik 'Freshpro' Hansen, while It's Gosu had some schedule conflicts of their own. The three times Dreamhack champions opted to use their most likely new member, Maurice 'KheZu' Gutmann; while the up-and-comers used Murat 'pash' Karagöz and Emil 'Dizzyreed' Thunberg, of the new Lions team, instead of the missing-in-action Andreas 'pallet' Törngren and Johan 'Darkwonyx' Hansson.
Team It's Gosu were undeniably the better team yesterday evening, coming out on top of Fnatic after two fairly straight up matches. They may have surprised the favorites with an off the wall Cthuluphant pick in both matches, who finally proved to be a viable competitive hero. 'pash', one of their ringers, was dominant with Midas and Torturer respectively, showing everyone that he's one of the most talented freelance players on the scene at the moment. On the other side of the battlefield, Fnatic's Nymphora and Jereziah oriented line-ups never really got going properly, as the aggressive partners of choice - Pebbles and Monkey King, were shut down fairly efficiently by their opponents with smart item choices.
