In recent times, the Its Gosu organization has been one that is at the forefront of ‘Heroes of Newerth’ competition and community. Since they started their smaller scale monthly competitions back in November they have proved to be a valued asset to the HoN community.
One of the major factors towards the success of the mini-tournaments is the Its Gosu stream and the team behind it. It has been very refreshing to see some new casters such as Andrew "Zyori" Campbell and now Corrin “sneakee” Fulton enter the scene and perform to such a high standard. It is noted that “Zyori" is not new to casting. He has had a long history in competitive gaming and started his professional broadcaster role in Starcraft II prior to moving over to ‘Heroes of Newerth’.
Something that is quite new and a bit different to anything that currently exists in the HoN community is “The Zyori Breakdown”. A weekly show that focuses on HoN strategy in order to help improve the skill of the average player.
Word from Zyori about the show:
The Zyori Breakdown is the newest series from ZyoriTV that focuses on Heroes of Newerth analysis and strategy. Everything you are about to hear in this show is based on my anecdotal experiences as a life-long gamer, eSports broadcaster, and otherwise inquisitive individual. All of the content covered in this series will be focused around improving the average HoN players' ability in the lower levels of matchmaking. Naturally, many of the concepts we touch on will be applicable to, and often derived directly from, professional play. Although this series will focus almost exclusively on Heroes of Newerth content, some of the concepts will be applicable to other games within the moba genre.
The Show is on Thursdays & Sundays at 3pm EST - HERE
