Zippo: "We're just like regular people - we have regular schedules."

It's the last competition for the Chinese scene before a wave of festivities arrive with the turn of the Chinese New Year. WGT 2012 promises a showdown between the China's top four DotA teams and already, DK and LGD are set to play each other tomorrow in the Winner's Bracket Finals.

Firstly, congratulations on your eight championship titles in 2011. Last year was a busy year for the scene - is it true that your team has not returned to your training base since October?
-"Yup, since October, we've been flying around and out of the country participating at competitions. We have not had the opportunity to return to our base yet."

How does it affect your team?
-"The main problem was that we couldn't keep to a set training schedule."

Yet, your team has been able to maintain such a high level of play. What is your secret?
-"There's no secret, really. Whenever we're not training together, we'll get around and watch a couple of replays and discuss possible strategies. At other times, we'll use the competition matches to train instead, and learn and improve as we go along."

There's a contentious rivalry among your team, LGD and iG. With each team having the potential to win over the other, has your team prepared specially against the other two at WGT 2012?
-"Yeah, we had a couple of special preparations."

How do you see your odds against LGD?
-"It can easily go both ways."

WGT 2012 does not offer sound proof booths for teams (unlike G-League Season 3). Will we see your team trashtalk to get the advantage over your opponents?
-"*points to xB* You'll have to check with the boss about that. (xB: We'll see, we'll see.)"

Your team's relationship with PanDa can almost be compared to a brotherhood, even though things may not seem so during your matches against each other. Have you prepared any strategies to counter them?
-"Actually, our relationship with the other teams are amicable too; it's just that things can get pretty intense when we play against one another. As for 'big strategies', I feel that our team will just try to stick with what we know and perform to the best of our ability when the time comes."

WGT 2012 will be the last competition before the Chinese New Year. How do you see your chances of taking the championship?
-"I would say it's a one in four shot. The other teams are really neck to neck with us in terms of play level, and they all have a shot of taking this title."

It's been a year since the formation of DK, and we are still not sure what your team name stands for. Care to explain it for us?
-"I'm not too sure myself, actually... xB says it stands for wealth - do you take his word?"

Your boss(es) have alot invested in the team, from the training facilities you enjoy to the player benefits you receive, which are all top in the country. Your team even has your own set of rules and codes of conduct. What kind of a role did this play in your team?
-"Indeed, they have played a huge role in getting us to where we are today. I guess the most important part of our lifestyle is that we keep healthy work schedules. If you let a professional gamer go wild on his own, more often than not, you'll see him playing into the wee hours of the night, and then crashing in till late in the afternoon.

For us, we get up at eleven, train in the afternoon, and sleep by one in the morning. We're just like regular people - we have regular schedules."

Thank you for the interview! Any last words?
-"We'll give it our best shot, and work hard for every victory!"
