A recent small tournament concluded in China which featured a prize pool of $4,400 and the participation of a few top tier teams such as DK, LGD and WE. Nevertheless, it was PanDa who ultimately triumphed and took home the grand prize of 15,000 RMB ($2,400).
It was a best of one affair in the double elimination playoffs which saw DK crash out after being defeated in the winner's bracket by PanDa and later in the loser's bracket by WE.
PanDa had a seemingly smooth route however, not dropping a single game until the finals where LGD was able to claim one point off the champions. For those who missed the matches live, a vod of the grand finals is available at this link.

This result does not bode well for LGD, who are looking to take three games off iG tomorrow in the Grand Finals of G-League - with such volatility among the top Chinese teams and the lack of a clear victor, teams like PanDa and WE have surely shown that they have the potential to rise up to the occasion.
