The early evening of January 6th saw the completion of Group E of HomeStory Cup 4. EG's JYP continued to build upon his earlier lead eventually taking the top spot in the group, followed by aTn's zerg DarkForce.
In his third and final match for the day, JYP went against Dignitas' BlinG and finally dropped a map after entering the series with a 4-0 score. A second loss would have meant a possible tie-breaker in the group but the Korean recovered without any trouble, turning the match around and snatching a 2-1 triumph.
In the very last series of the group, DarkForce earned the second Ro16 seed by defeating fellow German terran DarkHydra 2-0. The zerg is the second German player to make it to the playoffs besides Socke as HasuObs and Dephi were eliminated the previous day.
