After pulling ahead on Shakuras Plateau, Nerchio suffered some early losses in the second game on Antiga Shipyard but turned the game around with exemplary use of the Lair tech. Nerchio utilized the highly mobile infestor/crackling composition to its very best, fungaling SCVs and marines all over the map and using infested terrans to tactically get rid of Thorzain's tanks. With the map control fully in his possession, the zerg kept Thorzain on three bases for almost the entire duration of the match, eventually smothering the Swede to a gg.
The decisive game in Group A shall be between Nerchio and Socke, both 2-0 in games. The winner will secure the top 1 spot in the pool, allowing him to choose his Ro16 spot himself.
