Rachel Seltzer of CyberSportsNetwork interviewed Evil Geniuses's North American duo IdrA and HuK who currently live in the Team SlayerS house.
- "You have five of the best Terrans in the world to practice with, so that kind of makes up for it," says IdrA about the fact that CocA and the rest of the SlayerS Zergs are not at the team house.
- "Cella's been giving me some advice, but for the most part we just like talk about the games with everyone we've played against and give each other advice and ak them for stuff," says IdrA. HuK added, "I don't receive like any coaching at all, me and Greg have talked about some random stuff and I think I've talked to Alicia about some stuff but mostly it's just like complaining about other races."
HuK also mentions that maybe in the future a closer partnership with SlayerS will happen and that a new deal is being negotiated for them to stay at the house longer. He mentions how they have soome conflicting sponsors (Razer and SteelSeries) and how they don't have any plans to play GSTL right now.
The main benefits about being in a progaming house is according to HuK not having to worry about stuff like doing chores and having food provided, but also having other people around him to watch them play or discuss with practice partners.
- "The underrated thing is the fact that the team pretty much takes care of every thing for you. We have to get our own dinner, but we usually order out anyway and everything else is just... You don't have to anything else except play and that makes it a lot easier to focus on practicing," says IdrA.
